We had some wonderful speakers present to us at the Younes Conference Center. These speakers consisted of Mayor Stan Clouse, Trevor Lee, Scott Hayden, Bobbi Dickerson, Clint Edwards, Megan Goeke and Dr. Lissa Woodruff.
A Predictive Index Presentation was then done by Travis Justice and Grace Wiers. We had the opportunity to learn a little bit about each other's personalities and how our personalities help within the workplace.
After getting to Camp Comeca, we had the opportunity to do a color code test and a presentation was given by Jean Anderson and Matt Meister. We learned how to speak to each other based on different personalities.
After some free time canoeing and walking around the property getting to know each other, they put us to the test doing some strategy games that they called Leadership Olympics.
We had a great night eating smores and seeing everyone break out of their shell a little more.
Then we woke up the next day with a little adventure. Ziplining and archery was a fun activity to get some energy out before we started talking about our class project. It was great getting to hear everyone's thoughts and ideas. We worked great as a team and utilized what we learned the day before.
Our class is looking forward to everything this next year and we had the perfect start to it all on this retreat.
